Irish Water Repairs

As you may have noticed there were water main repairs and upgrades taking place within the estate over recent months. While the majority of the repairs are now complete, the reinstatement of paths and verges still requires a lot of work, and have been like this for a considerable amount of time.

We have been in touch with both Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and GMC, the contractors, to express our concern with the delays and quality of the work. DLRCC have given us assurances that they will work with their crews over the coming weeks to make all repairs necessary. We are especially aware of the need to do this right, as only last year the council had done a great job in upgrade works throughout the estate.

New Oak Tree

We have planted a new oak tree on the hill, which is the memorial tree for residents of the estate. We’ll be watering it regularly over the next few weeks to help it bed in, and hope it will thrive and be be around for many years to come.
