Santa will be visiting Balally on Christmas Eve and will have a small surprise for the kids. He will leave St. Olaf’s school at 4pm and will stop in a few places as he travels through the estate. You will hear him ringing his bell as he comes near.

There were two break-ins on Balally Drive this weekend in the evening time. If you see suspicious activity please report to Dundrum Gardai on 01-6665600.
Gardai have the following 5 burglary prevention tips:
1) Secure all doors and windows
2) Light up your home, use timer switches when out
3) Store keys safely and away from windows and letterboxes
4) Record details of valuables and don’t keep large cash amounts at home
5) Use your alarm, even when at home

If you come across rodents around your house the HSE provides the some advice that residents can follow including storing food and waste so it cannot be accessed, and sealing buildings so rodents cannot enter.
