You may have noticed that the council performed some work in Balally over the summer. This included repairing damaged driveways and kerbs, adding double-yellow lines to improve traffic flow and increase road safety, as well as cutting down some trees that were blocking street lights or were dangerously close to overhead cables. The tree stumps will be ground at a later stage and we have made a request to add new trees in other areas to compensate for the ones that have been removed.
The residents association are in regular contact with council representatives to ensure that they are aware of improvements that are needed.
